Harry DeAngelo
holds the Charles E. Cook/Community Bank Chair. His research
focuses on corporate finance and corporate governance issues, including
dividend policy and financial distress, the effect of taxes on capital
structure and dividend policy, the effect of management buyouts on stockholder
wealth, corporate governance and stockholder voting rights, the effect
of proxy contests for corporate control on managerial tenure and stockholder
wealth, and the politics of finance.
